Presently Home Building Workshops offers classes in home building, residential contracting, builder's licensing, home repairs and remodeling, and outboard motor repair and maintenance. Some trade unions, such as the United Auto Workers (UAW), have tuition-payment programs for retirees and active workers. Check to see if your union or corporation provides for tuition reimbursement. Classes may consist of hands-on projects, information sessions, or a combination of the two.
